The bins are the easy part
Moving has a long list. Cardboard adds four more things to it: shop for boxes, build them, tape them, then figure out where they all go afterward. We take that whole chunk off the list.
Our plastic moving boxes (we call them bins) show up clean, nested, and ready to pack. You fill them, stack them, roll them onto the truck on the dolly we bring. When you're unpacked, we come get everything. That's it.

Moving bin rental packages
Every package includes delivery, pickup, a dolly, labels, a Sharpie, and zip ties. Rentals run two weeks, and you can add bins or extend before delivery.
Two-bedroom
Need something in between? Add bins one at a time at checkout, $5 each. Extra dollies are $10 each. An address 10 to 20 miles from City Heights adds $20 for that trip.

Where we deliver in San Diego
We're based in City Heights, and delivery and pickup are included anywhere within 10 miles of home. That covers downtown, North Park, Normal Heights, Kensington, Talmadge, UTC and more. Keeping it close is how we keep delivery windows tight.
A little farther out? An address 10 to 20 miles from City Heights adds $20 for that trip. If only your new place is out there, you pay it once. If both addresses are, it's $40. Past twenty miles we still deliver anywhere in San Diego County, we just quote it first so there are no surprises. You'll see the number before you pay.

Last year we moved for the first time in twelve years.
We spent hundreds of dollars on boxes and tape. Not because we wanted to, but because buying bins didn't make sense. We didn't need that many for everyday storage, and we didn't have anywhere to put that many empties once the move was over.
We didn't know renting bins was even an option. If we had, it would have saved us money, saved us time, and made a lot more sense for the move we were doing.
That's why Good Day exists, to solve that problem for DIY movers.
We deliver: you pack, move, unpack, and we pick up when you're done. It's the exact service we wish we'd had when we moved last year.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Book at least 48 hours ahead. More than 40 bins? Give us 7 days. Need bins sooner? Text us at (858) 208-0051 and we’ll see what we can do.
What if I need more bins mid-pack?
Add them before delivery, and we'll bring them along. After delivery, message us, and we'll let you know if a same-week drop is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Yes, and weekdays too. We deliver seven days a week, and the windows depend on the day. You’ll see what’s open when you book. We confirm the exact time 48 hours before delivery.
Are the bins clean?
Yes. Every bin is cleaned and inspected between rentals.
What happens if a bin gets damaged?
Normal wear is expected. A bin that comes back broken or missing is $20 to replace. You'll see that number before you pay, not after.
