Privacy policy
We are a small San Diego moving bin rental company. We collect what we need to deliver and pick up your bins, and nothing else. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, and email address so we can confirm the order
- Delivery and pickup addresses, dates, and any access notes you give us
- Your bin count, package, and extras
- If you save a date or ask for a quote: your name, email, phone number, and about when you're moving
- If you join our partner program: your name, brokerage or property, license number, email, website, and social handle
Payment card details are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store a full card number.
How we use it
To schedule delivery and pickup, to reach you about your order, to take payment, and to keep records for taxes and insurance. If you opt in, we may email you about our service. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
Texts
If you check the text box, we'll text you about your move. Reply STOP anytime to stop. Message and data rates may apply. We never sell or share your number or your text permission.
Who sees it
Our own team, plus the services that run the business: the hosting platform (which also counts site visits), the payment processor, email delivery, and Google Analytics if you accept cookies. Each one is bound to use the data only to provide that service. We share information with law enforcement only when the law requires it.
Partner links
If you book through a partner's link, like a realtor or your apartment community, we let that partner know your name and your delivery date. Nothing else. If you join as a partner, we show your name, brokerage, and license number (or your property's name) to the people who use your link.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out request automatically.
Cookies and analytics
We use two tools to see how people find and use this site.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and pages. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites.
- Google Analytics shows us which pages help people book. It only turns on if you tap Accept on our cookie banner, and then it sets cookies on this site. We turned off Google's ad features, so it is not used for ads.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics stays off. You can change your choice anytime with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for four years for tax and insurance purposes. Booking inquiries that do not become orders are deleted after twelve months. When you unsubscribe, we take you off our email list right away. We keep your contact info and a note that you said no, so we don't email you again.
Your California rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to delete it, to correct it, to give you a copy, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email hello@gooddaybins.com with the subject line "Privacy request" or call (858) 208-0051. We confirm within ten business days and respond within forty-five days. We verify requests by matching the contact details on your order.
Children
This site is for adults booking a move. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
